Lifetime Learning Centre's Mission Statement
Lifetime Learning Centre provides a growth-focused, safe and supportive environment to empower adult and lifelong learners to achieve personal, academic and employment potential, including credit achievement, facilitated by Ontario Certified Teachers.
The Centre's History
Lifetime Learning Centre had its humble beginnings in two classrooms at the St. Catharines Collegiate in 1975. With a staff of very dedicated teachers, the program grew in size and popularity and is now housed in an all-adult facility which was opened in 1995.
By providing academic upgrading and skill based computer training/retraining programs, the District School Board of Niagara continues to make a significant contribution to the human resource development and economic growth of its community. Boasting current software and up-to-date computer labs as well as classrooms for academic courses, the Centre has an annual enrollment of over 400 students – proof that learning is a lifetime venture!
