The Sven H. Dohnberg Centre The Sven H. Dohnberg Centre is located next to the Lifetime Learning Centre and Lakeport Secondary School. The Sven H. Dohnberg Centre provides child care for student parents so that these parents may complete their education.

This Centre is part of the child care organization known as the ADOLESCENT'S FAMILY SUPPORT SERVICES OF NIAGARA (AFSSN).

AFSSN

AFSSN is an organization dedicated to helping student parents complete their education. By providing child care, this organization can help young parents have a much better future for themselves and their children. To determine eligibility for subsidy care, AFSSN will arrange an appointment with an assessment officer for you.

WHEN Does the Program Run The program, available throughout the Niagara Region, is offered throughout the duration of the school year.

• In-Home Care
• Centre-Based Care - provides child care at the Sven H. Dohnberg Centre, adjacent to Lakeport Secondary School.
• accepts babies (6 weeks) to preschoolers
• Support Services - offers one-on-one emotional support, parenting and life skill assistance, goal setting, budgeting, guidance and more
• Resource Teacher
• Outreach Program
• ADAPT - an alternative program
