Computer & Technology Program Course Outlines

THE INTERENT, DIGITAL GADGETS AND ACCOUNTING
Internet Training
All registered students in the Business and Technology Unit will receive Internet and email training in applicable courses during the 60-day modules.

Digital Gadgets (Social Media)
Don't be left behind! Become digitally informed! This course will teach you to use your digital camera, use lighting and create effects, examine options on cell phones, digital picture frames and transitional effects, Skype, Blog and Twitter, scanning images and text, copy and burn CDs, observe options on Ipods, Students will have some computer experience including software applications and file management. Must have an interest in learning more about peripheral devices.

Accounting
Students will learn basic accounting concepts, knowledge and skills. Students will learn Simply Accounting, a popular computerized accounting software. Students should have some basic computer skills. Keyboarding skills an asset but not a requirement. There are no prerequisites for the accounting course.
